Important Update on May 27, 2010
The subscription period has been opened for new Founding Members to join The Metal Augmentor at an exclusive rate of $107 per year (monthly and quarterly billing also available). This rate will remain the same for as long as the subscription is renewed. Founding Membership entitles the subscriber to access all current and future features and benefits of the Metal Augmentor service including direct access to the editors. There is a strict limit on the number of Founding Memberships. The subscription period will be closed again once we have added a small number of new Founding Members so that we can make sure that we will be able to continue providing individual attention. We may or may not open to new Founding Members in the future. Once the Founding Member roster is full, we will only accept basic subscriptions going forward. Basic subscribers will not have direct access to us, they will not be able to renew at the same rate and they will not have access to all of the features and tools of the website.

As soon as you have registered, you can use your new user name and password to access subscriber content at the eForum although you should visit this Subscriber Home Page periodically for updates on our other service offerings.

We are also working on a database that will provide information and search capabilities on companies in the mining industry. The database is located here. The few companies currently in the database were selected at random for testing purposes and do not represent any sort of portfolio or recommendation. Currently the database is located in the public portion of the website but full access will be reserved for subscribers only once the database has been populated.
Short User Tutorial
Our main content is located in a blog format we call Editorial Forum or Eforum for short. This blog contains all of our recent and historical commentary going back to early 2009. User instructions can be found here. To summarize, the eForum can be read sequentially backwards like any blog or the right hand menu can be used to navigate through postings by date or category. Many blog entries also have subscriber comments and these often contain very useful information. There is a link to the comments at the top of each blog entry and there is also a list of the 15 most recent comments in the right hand menu as well as a link to an archive of the 100 most recent comments in the top menu. Subscribers who would like to comment (which we encourage as the primary means of communication with us as well as to share ideas with other subscribers) should be aware that for security purposes their initial comment will be held for moderation until approved. Once approved, which can take several hours or at most a day or so, subsequent comments will appear automatically.
