BHP ended its partnership and as a parting gift said Chidliak was worth only a fraction of their share of exploration spending these past few years. Kind of like breaking up with the line “it isn’t me, it’s you”. There’s always hope that another prince charming comes along, and the odds are probably better with our “princess” being a Friedland. Barring a new partnership, Peregrine needs to raise significantly more funds at precisely the wrong time or else forfeit an aggressive 2012 exploration program.
