The Garrcon project looks quite attractive in comparison to what one normally sees from other projects at a similar stage of advancement. For one, the gold potential is excellent. It took hours of looking over the technical data and several discussions with management to recognize the potential, but it has been well worth it even if the distribution of mineralization does present some challenges. Then there’s the excellent infrastructure, proximity of mineralization to surface and other factors could make a fast-track production scenario a realistic option. Of particular interest to us is the possibility of separating the ore into a heap leach component and a milling component … such an approach can create operational flexibility and opens up several development and financing scenarios.

Northern Gold also enjoys the strong backing of a group of wealthy investors who have acquired a good portion of the shares and continue to accumulate. This is a testament to the strategic groundwork laid by head honcho Martin Shefsky and team to gain a foothold in a highly prospective but under radar portion of the Abititi gold belt.
